Mireille was an all-around amazing coach. This was my second half marathon, but my first with a dedicated coach to lean on. The first race, I prepared using an online program. I performed well using both methods, but I value the real time interactions I had with Mireille. I wasn’t fast, and I don’t have a “runner’s body”, on top of having osteochondritis dissecans and diverticulitis. I never thought I could do it. She made sure we both listened to my body and while making sure I got miles in. She adjusted my plan when I had a diverticulitis flare up and even though I didn’t think I’d run the marathon, I did.
